Jill Hawkins is an experienced trial attorney with a background in criminal law and personal injury litigation.  Early in her career, Jill Hawkins served as an Assistant District Attorney with the Harris County District Attorney's Office.  Jill prosecuted hundreds of cases during her time as an ADA for the third largest county in the United States and tried many of those matters before juries. As a former prosecutor, Jill Hawkins has an extensive knowledge of law enforcement practices, polices, and procedures which enables her to surgically analyze every client's case with a sharp eye for detail.

Before becoming an Assistant District Attorney, Jill Hawkins began her career as a Staff Attorney with State Counsel for Offenders, a Texas state agency that represents incarcerated individuals across the state of Texas in their pursuit of various legal matters.

Jill Hawkins is now the owner of the Law Office of Jillian Hawkins, PLLC.  where she has defended hundreds of clients accused of crimes in Texas, and advocates on behalf of victims in both Louisiana and Texas who have been injured at the fault of others.

Jill Hawkins is a graduate of Howard University School of Law where she was a member of the Charles Hamilton Houston National Moot Court Team and Phi Alpha Delta Law Fraternity.

Jill received her Bachelor of Arts from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette where she was both an honor student and placed in the Dean's List.  Jill was president of her sorority (Delta Sigma Theta) for two years and also a board member of the National Pan-Hellenic Counsel.

 

Jill Hawkins is a native of Baton Rouge Louisiana where she attended Star Hill Baptist Church from birth and was a graduate of McKinley Senior High School.

 

Jill Hawkins is currently licensed to practice in the State of Texas, State of Louisiana, and the Federal Southern District of Texas
